This ritual is a visual orientation of the exchange of the seven vows between the bride and the groom on their wedding day as per the Hindu Culture. With each step the bride touches the bettle nut promising and agreeing to the vows shared by her groom. She also shares her vows and walks towards the groom who is ready to welcome her in his life as his better half.
